Description and analysis of ultrasound physics as applied to sound waves, transducers, two-dimensional images, Doppler, hemodynamic principles, system functions, ultrasound artifacts and biosafety concerns.

This class requires in-person, live online meetings and the use of Canvas. In-person meeting information (meeting days, times, location) is in the class schedule. Students will also complete coursework in Canvas, which must be accessed using an internet enabled device.
